SF Rental Inventory Doubles

Continuing the trend that's dominated the rental market this year, there are now twice as many apartments for rent in San Francisco than there were this time last year.

After briefly tightening this summer, inventory shot up in the fall and in some neighborhoods as three times what it was just 12 months ago. Only Glen Park has fewer apartments for rent than last year, with Hayes Valley, Bernal Heights and Ingleside seeing a more than 300% increase.
